After crossing the dunes, the next step to get to the site of the lost Estancian Library would be to pass through the ruined cities where a tribe of Soil Ghosts mutants were known to operate. Argus at first wanted to sit out the mission - as an exiled Soil Ghost mutant himself, he was reluctant to return to his homeland. But Bob convinced him, because the Team needed his knowledge of the Soil Ghost territory to make it through the ruins of the library in the first place. Once Jack had distracted the scavengers of the dunes, the Bucks Team Sniper led Steel, Bob, and King to their destination without alerting any of the Soil Ghosts. They passed through like spirits themselves, silently gliding through the desert ruins, leaving no trace that they had ever been there. At the Library, things were worse than they had imagined.
