The Bucks Waterstrider QM3b is an all-terrain quadrupedal weapons platform originally conceived by King, the Vanguard Commander of the Bucks team, known as the Shielded Striker. Agurtan forces operating near the Gray Zones frequently come into contact with local armies of warlords, heavily armed mercenaries, or the environmental terrorist group the Alkali Order, who even possess SAs that can destroy towns. The Bucks Team requires both defensive weapons that can quickly establish an impregnable stronghold, as well as offensive equipment that can force a breakthrough against the enemy's powerful firepower. They need any weapons to be mobile and light, leaving more room for carrying supplies, and they need it to be constructed with thick armor made of rare metals to resist the Gray Zones’ damaging acid rain. The Bucks Waterstrider ticks all these boxes, empowering the Bucks Team to continue their march forward against all odds.
