In recognition of outstanding contributions made by the Universal Emergency Response Alliance (UERA) in the rescue operations for the Dolcin coal mine disaster, the Agurts government donated a batch of specialized Rescue Laurel LA3u SAs to assist with their emergency response work in hostile environments. The UERA is an international non-governmental organization composed mainly of civilian volunteers and retired military personnel with medical, engineering, security and firefighting expertise. In addition to providing disaster relief and medical assistance, UERA volunteers also engage in post-disaster reconstruction to help resettle displaced populations.
