As conflicts continued to escalate, there is a rise in demand for armored units. In an effort to reduce casualties and gain the upper hand in battles, a mixed mech combat team was formed. The Sol Commander is the core member of this mixed mech combat team, he serves as the squad leader in ground battles. The candidates are first screened through a series of aptitude tests, after which they will receive extensive training in various mechs’ operations and advanced combat tactics. Only those with outstanding results would be appointed as the Sol Commander.
